Thanks for checking us out! We hope you’ll join our community of people who desire to grow in their physical, mental and emotional health, through dedicating an hour of their day to slowing down (or speeding up, depending on the class), breathing, and strengthening the body.

Our studio was created in 2016 with the goal of helping people grow in their journey of living healthy and strong. We hope a visit to our studio leaves you encouraged and inspired!

We offer different types of classes to meet your specific needs. But each class offers helps and modifications, so that students of different levels can enjoy the same class (see class descriptions below). First time walk-ins are welcome!

We also offer an assortment of exercise apparel and natural health products. Come check us out!

• Friday 6:00pm — Vinyasa Yoga (Psoas Release Flow)
• Saturday 9:30am — Power Flow Yoga (for the Glutes)
• Sunday 2:00pm — Yin Yoga (Release with straps)

Melanie’s yoga journey began in 2004, and it was love at first asana. During the next four years, she immersed herself in the movement, mindfulness, and mystery of the practice. She began teaching in 2008 after training through Yoga World Reach. Her classes combine breath technique, excess-tension release, alignment of the body, anatomical focus, laughs, smiles and amazing music. Melanie’s goal is for her students to feel more at home in their bodies through their yoga practice.

Vinyasa Yoga

“Vinyasa” is the Sanskrit word for “flow.” Known for its flowing movements that smoothly transition from pose to pose. Each class varies in style and intensity.

Barre Class

(All experience levels are welcome! Help and modifications are given in class).

A combination of yoga, Pilates, dance, and and weight training, set to motivating music! The goal is a full-body workout that includes cardio, coordination, flexibility AND muscle shaping. Some of the moves incorporate the dance bar to help with balance. Equipment is uses in most classes, including small weights and resistance bands.

Yoga Basics

Focuses on basic philosophy, postures and techniques of yoga. Extra time is given to definitions, explanations, and help with poses and movements. Good for beginners!

Happy Hour Variety Yoga

A mix of vinyasa (flowing) movements and strong poses. This class will feel like a challenging workout, with time also spent on cooling poses and stretching.

Gentle Yoga

Great for those beginning their practice or for those who don’t want a physically demanding workout. Extra time is given to stretching, as well as explanation of and help with poses.

Strong Flow Yoga

Much like Vinyasa, but with time spent on holding poses for strength and balance. We will also breakdown certain poses to work on proper alignment and technique.

Power Yoga

(Not currently offered)

A fast paced flow, with an emphasis on poses that increase strength, stamina and flexibility — while reducing stress. Perfect if you want a good “workout!”

Yin Yoga

A slow-paced style that holds poses for long periods of time (with a focus on breathing). Yin targets the connective tissues (joints and ligaments) and is a compliment to the high-paced forms of exercise that work muscles.
